Our Doctor

Dr David G Bannister

David Bannister completed residency training at Prince Henrys Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Graduated as a Paediatrician after further overseas training in U.K. and Canada (McMaster University, Hamilton Ontario.) Spent the next 30 years in regional paediatrics at Frankston on the Mornington Peninsula. After further training in Paediatric Allergy in 1991, he is now involved full time in allergy, working in private practice and in the Allergy/Immunology Dept. at RCH teaching Paediatricians and registrars. Involved in AMC (Australian Medical Council) as a senior examiner for overseas doctors.

Ros Whitman

Ros has worked in the health care sector for past 40 years, beginner her career as a nurse and then moving to general practice as nurse/receptionist and later practice management roles.   

Ros has been with Dr Bannister now for two and a half years and is thoroughly enjoying what she calls "my last role" before retiring completely.

 

 

Reception

Carey Tranter

Carey joined our team in February 2019, she has extensive administrative experience having worked in paediatric, ophthalmology and general practice and as receptionist, secretary and practice manager.

Outside of Peninsula Paediatrics she is Mum to two girls and loves family time, walking, pilates and the beach.
